Job Summary:
Seek a highly skilled Labor and Delivery RN to provide exceptional postpartum, neonatal, and obstetric care in a busy hospital setting. The nurse will collaborate with a seasoned team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct bedside care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and assess labor progress using fetal monitoring techniques.
• Administer medications, including Pitocin and Cervidil, and perform procedures such as C-sections and intra-uterine monitoring.
• Respond swiftly to OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using Meditech and CPN systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring and obstetric emergency procedures.
• Possess certifications in BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training.
• Skilled in managing labor inductions and performing newborn assessments.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable floating within the facility as needed.
