Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse with obstetric and mother-baby experience. The role involves working across L&D and Mother Baby units, supporting obstetric care, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs, fetal status, and progress during labor.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about childbirth processes and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid TN state license or multi-state license required.
• At least 1 year of recent L&D and Mother Baby nursing experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, AWHONN, NRP, STABLE, CPI (or MAB in lieu of CPI).
• Ability to work flexible hours including night shifts and float between units.
• Must be comfortable working with the prison population.
