Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced trauma and stroke center. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, respectful, and efficient patient care in accordance with hospital standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care needs in the emergency department.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using the Cerner system.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Level 2 trauma or comprehensive stroke center.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a high-volume ED with strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and environments.
• Previous hospital experience preferred, ideally with HCA systems.
