Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans to assist orthopedic and musculoskeletal patients in regaining movement, reducing pain, and resuming daily activities. The role requires delivering evidence-based, manual therapy techniques in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal patients to improve mobility and reduce discomfort.
• Develop customized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical best practices.
• Deliver effective, evidence-based manual therapy and therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment protocols, home care, and wellness strategies.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to ensure cohesive patient care and participate in community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Hold or be eligible for a Maryland Physical Therapy license.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate experience or strong interest in outpatient orthopedic settings and manual therapy techniques.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
