Job Summary:
The CT technologist is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures with professionalism and patient-centered care. They ensure accuracy in preparation, adherence to safety protocols, and clear communication to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following established protocols.
• Verify patient identity and review medical records to ensure proper procedure preparation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Maintain sterility, cleanliness, and inventory of supplies, including contrast media and consumables.
• Monitor patient condition before and after contrast injections, reporting any changes promptly.
• Assist in emergency situations and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, including equipment maintenance and calibration.

Qualifications:

• Maintain current ARRT RT (R) and RT (CT) certifications, as well as NJDEP X-Ray License and BLS certification.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED and complete a radiography training program from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture and power injector protocols.
• Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and patient care professionalism.
