Job Summary:
Perform routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Operate independently, applying clinical skills to deliver timely, precise results while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate image quality and adjust techniques to optimize results.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers throughout procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards to protect patient privacy and safety.
• Assist in orienting and training department staff on sonography practices.
• Document findings accurately and report results to responsible physicians.

Qualifications:

• Possess ARDMS certification in Ultrasound or Sonography.
• Hold a valid CA State License and meet current BLS requirements.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of sonography experience in a clinical setting.
• Be proficient in EPIC software and related imaging technologies.
• Maintain current certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Upload and consistently update necessary certifications and licensure documentation.
