Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide exceptional patient recovery care. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar specialty and be committed to high-quality clinical practices.

Responsibilities:

• Stabilize and assess patients emerging from anesthesia to ensure immediate recovery needs are met.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient vital signs throughout the recovery process.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and recovery expectations.
• Document patient conditions, interventions, and responses comprehensively and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control standards, and agency policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active registered nurse license in good standing.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a PACU or recovery setting.
• Demonstrate certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by AHA.
• Exhibit strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work 7a-7p schedule, including major and minor holidays.
• Maintain flexibility to work a 7-day weekly schedule.
