Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality maternal care in a high-risk obstetric unit. The RN will be responsible for managing labor, delivery, and postpartum patient needs within a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients undergoing labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal well-being using GE fetal monitors and interpret findings for clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during vaginal deliveries and c-section procedures.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and interventions accurately in the Meditech system.
• Provide post-delivery recovery care ensuring patient stability and education.
• Adhere to hospital policies on attire, hygiene, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery care.
• Certification in fetal monitoring (AwONN preferred).
• Proven ability to circulate during C-sections and manage high-acuity obstetric patients.
• Knowledge of procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery.
• Strong understanding of obstetric and neonatal protocols and safety standards.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with a flexible floating policy.
