Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Operating Room. This role involves supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative care to patients scheduled for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical staff to prepare the operating room for procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families about postoperative care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing with the state or compact license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience.
• Proficient in Epic electronic health record charting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with rotating day off shifts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work 4x10 hour shifts with call requirements.
