Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a Medical Surgical unit at a prominent hospital. The role involves delivering quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.



Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  
• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly to identify changes or complications.
  
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system.
  
• Collaborate with physicians, unit staff, and support teams to coordinate care.
  
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
  
• Manage workload efficiently during 12-hour night shifts with a patient ratio of 1:6.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience.
  
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  
• Experience with nephrology, dialysis, or kidney transplant patients preferred.
  
• Proficiency in using Meditech documentation system.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Flexibility to work 3 weekend shifts per month.
