Job Summary:
Providing compassionate and efficient nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit, the LPN will support clinical staff in delivering high-quality healthcare. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the assessment and monitoring of patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient information accurately in clinical records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Kentucky LPN license or equivalent state licensure active and in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety.
