Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Medical Surgical RN with travel experience to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role involves working night shifts, with opportunity for float assignments and charge nurse responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 29-bed unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Perform charge nurse duties as needed, including supervising staff and managing unit operations.
• Monitor telemetry and facilitate physical therapy for orthopedic and surgical patients on the unit.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including passing EKG exams and maintaining active licensure.
• Document patient information accurately within EPIC electronic medical records system.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid, active RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Have previous travel nursing experience, with the ability to adapt quickly across facilities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR and pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• Hold valid BLS certification and previous charge nurse experience.
• Be able to work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.
