Job Summary:
Assist nursing staff in providing basic patient care in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and well-being through attentive support and adherence to facility policies.

Responsibilities:

• Support nursing staff in delivering routine patient care and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Follow infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene and PPE usage.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to facility sanitation standards.
• Document care provided and any observations accurately in residents' records.
• Comply with all facility policies, including identification and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CNA certification in the state or appropriate licensing.
• Demonstrate basic patient care skills and understanding of infection control practices.
• Possess reliable transportation to and from the facility, as this is a local role.
• Be able to work flexible shifts, including every other weekend.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward residents.
• Show compliance with vaccination and identification policies as required by the facility.
