Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Travel RN in Telemetry to provide exceptional nursing care in a busy Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will deliver patient-centered care while adapting to a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, focusing on telemetry and cardiac needs.
• Administer medications and perform interventions such as IV insertions, urinary catheter insertions, and central line maintenance.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all clinical procedures and patient responses accurately in the EMR system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Follow unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current healthcare certification.
• Minimum of 1+ years of recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience.
• Strong skills in IV therapy, medication administration, and documentation.
• Experience caring for 4-6 patients simultaneously preferred.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Prefer candidates with ortho, neuro-surgery, or med/surg/telemetry backgrounds.
