Job Summary:
Seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for monitoring cardiac patients, assisting with post-operative care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ cardiac and post-operative conditions and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor telemetry equipment and respond promptly to any abnormal rhythms or vital sign changes.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding their condition and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent med-surg telemetry experience.
• Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring and post-operative care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
