Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring all clinical needs are met with a focus on patient safety and optimal outcomes. This role requires a confident, team-oriented RN with experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions by interpreting vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other critical data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, demonstrating strong critical thinking and dysrhythmia recognition skills.
• Document patient information thoroughly in the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.

Qualifications:

• Valid active compact RN license required at submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in dysrhythmia recognition and critical drip management.
• Ability to work self-directed, confidently, and positively under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills necessary for unit collaboration.
