Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the PCU/IMC/Stepdown unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through clinical expertise and compassionate support. This role involves managing and monitoring patients with complex conditions requiring detailed assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, medical equipment, and patient responses with precision.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and adjust care plans accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active nursing license with a compact license preferred.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a hospital setting, specifically in PCU, IMC, or stepdown units.
• Demonstrate strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and experience managing critical drips.
• Proficient in utilizing GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
