Job Summary:
Seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse for a seasonal Labor and Delivery assignment. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume, Level IV unit with a collaborative team environment and advanced technology.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to laboring mothers and newborns, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using advanced equipment such as Novii, JADA, and US.
• Assist with procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC while maintaining sterile techniques.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation.
• Experience with fetal monitoring, internal monitor placement, and high-volume unit procedures preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including alternating weekends, without call requirements.
• Demonstrate a team-oriented attitude with a positive, adaptable personality.
