Job Summary:
Provides specialized critical care nursing services to ICU patients, ensuring high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment plans. Collaborates with healthcare teams to promote patient safety and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor medications, treatments, and therapies specific to ICU patients.
• Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, neurological status, and other clinical indicators.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff to develop and modify care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, demonstrating advanced critical care skills.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, certifications, and hospital policies, including BLS and ACLS requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio license or compact state license in good standing.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent ICU experience in a permanent capacity.
• Obtain and maintain current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Submit a manager or supervisor reference from within the past 12 months.
• Complete required assessments with acceptable scores during orientation.
