Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients requiring management of breathing disorders. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver safe and effective respiratory therapy services in accordance with clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and therapies based on physician orders.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and interventions.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Educate patients and family members on respiratory care and equipment use.
• Comply with all licensing, certification, and facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia RRT license and NBRC credential (RRT).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care within relevant specialty.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including holidays.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
