Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver quality care throughout the childbirth process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor laboring patients’ progress and vital signs.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to develop and modify care plans.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Support and assist with clinical procedures during labor and delivery.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS and NRP certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fetal monitoring and obstetric protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
