Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to medical surgical patients in a fast-paced, high-energy unit. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery through effective clinical interventions and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress, document findings accurately in Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain a safe environment using appropriate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and bladder scanners.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license required.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg or acute care experience.
• Experience with post-surgical care, pain management, and patient assessments.
• Previous HCA hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
