Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Mother Baby/Nursery unit, supporting obstetric and newborn patients during the night shift. Ensure high-quality clinical standards are maintained while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer obstetric and neonatal nursing procedures, including labor support, cesarean sections, and postpartum care.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, responding promptly to any changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated maternal and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Educate patients on postpartum and newborn care, ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Support unit operations by floating within the unit and maintaining flexibility to meet patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications.
• Demonstrate competency in obstetric procedures including inductions, labor, and cesarean sections.
• Exhibit strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Show energy, self-direction, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.
