Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal patients in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatments for critically ill newborns, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and airway management, tailored to neonatal needs.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and diagnostic data to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain and operate advanced respiratory equipment, ensuring its functionality and safety.
• Educate families on respiratory therapies and provide emotional support to promote patient comfort and family involvement.

Qualifications:

• Valid registration or license as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in neonatal or pediatric intensive care, preferably in a Level III NICU setting.
• Proven ability to operate advanced respiratory therapy equipment and provide critical neonatal care.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and families.
• Demonstrated knowledge of neonatal physiology and respiratory pathophysiology.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
