Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing for trauma patients in a Level I Trauma ICU. Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards while managing complex cases within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions meticulously and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care activities.
• Document clinical findings and interventions accurately using Epic electronic charting system.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience, preferably in trauma settings.
• Hold active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; PALS and TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting and electronic medical records.
• Maintain a valid state or compact nursing license upon submission.
• Capable of managing a patient ratio of 1:2 in a high-acuity setting.
• Ability to work day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) on a 3x12-hour schedule.
