Job Summary:


Seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Registered Nurse to provide expert patient care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. The ideal candidate will have orthopedic and trauma experience, along with proficiency in EPIC EMR systems.



Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans for orthopedic and trauma patients.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Rapid Response Teams to ensure patient safety.
  
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses according to established protocols.
  
• Utilize specialized equipment such as CPM machines, knee immobilizers, and Bone Foam to support recovery.
  
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR to ensure compliance and continuity.
  
• Support patients during elective and trauma surgeries, managing pre-op and post-op needs.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Possess an active registered nurse license and relevant orthopedic and trauma experience.
  
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR systems and pass a compliance EKG exam.
  
• Have a minimum of two years of hospital experience, with no open cases on record.
  
• Hold current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
  
• Flexibility to float to various campuses and work 3x12-hour shifts.
