Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through clinical expertise and compassionate care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess pediatric patients' conditions, promptly identifying changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care, interventions, and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and care procedures.
• Float to NICU and acute care pediatrics based on staffing needs, providing flexible and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid nursing license in the state or pending license with verification.
• Possess at least 2 years of PICU nursing experience, preferably with pediatric cardiac care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical assessments, IV therapy, and pediatric emergency procedures.
• Be BLS and PALS certified; Peds cardiac experience is a plus.
• Able to submit references and all required certifications.
• Capable of working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
