Job Summary:
Provide advanced nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU setting, ensuring comprehensive patient assessment, treatment, and recovery support. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, safe patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertions, wound care, and airway management.
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics as needed, adhering to scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state, with pending licenses accepted and in hand by start date.
• Minimum of 1-year pediatric ICU or acute care experience, including complex patient management.
• BLS and PALS certifications required; Peds Cardiac experience a plus.
• Ability to work 12-hour night or day shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
