Job Summary:
Provide specialized pediatric intensive care nursing to critically ill children in a fast-paced environment. Ensure the safety and well-being of patients through comprehensive clinical assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and medical equipment, including cardiac monitoring.
• Educate family members on patient care, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and initiate life-saving procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license, with pending licenses accepted if in progress.
• At least one year of PICU nursing experience or pediatric critical care experience a plus.
• BLS and PALS certifications required; Pediatric Cardiac experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float within scope of practice.
