Job Summary:
Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Oversees patient assessments, administers medications, and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations promptly.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records using EPIC.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including RN, LPN, and PCT staff, to coordinate care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Current NY RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
• Demonstrated charting proficiency in EPIC.
• Able to work 4x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Must be willing to float and accept assignments requiring wall suction skills.
