Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, ensuring comprehensive support throughout their treatment journey. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and treatments per physician orders while monitoring patient responses.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and post-discharge care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, including maintaining proper certifications.
• Assist with patient advocacy and provide emotional support throughout treatment processes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license in active status at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 3 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year in Oncology (5+ years preferred).
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ONS/ONCC required; OCN preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Be flexible to work day shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and accept float assignments.
• No pending licenses or background issues; references from recent supervisors within the past year.
