Job Summary:

This NICU Registered Nurse position involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a hospital setting. The role requires adherence to strict clinical protocols and support for infants with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonatal patients' conditions to identify changes requiring intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate families on infant care, medical procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and clinical observations.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid state RN license, with pending licenses accepted if in hand by the start date.
• Hold current BLS and NRP certifications; Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Certification preferred.
• Demonstrate at least 1-year clinical experience in NICU or neonatal care.
• Be proficient in clinical assessments, neonatal instrumentation, and safety protocols.
• Complete all required background and reference checks prior to start.
• Be willing to float within scope of practice and adhere to facility policies.
