Job Summary:

Provide compassionate and efficient CNA/GNA care to adult and geriatric patients in a LTC/SNF setting. Flexibly float across units to meet staffing needs while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic nursing duties including patient hygiene, vital signs, and mobility assistance.
• Float within scope across units such as ICU, LTAC, LTC, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, Behavioral Health, Rehabilitation, and Stepdown/PCU.
• Adhere to all facility policies on attendance, punctuality, and time-off requests.
• Complete 24 hours of initial orientation and ongoing modules electronically.
• Maintain active Maryland GNA certification and AHA BLS certification.
• Follow patient acuity and staffing guidelines to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active GNA certification in Maryland at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 2 years of CNA/GNA experience, or 1 year if applicable.
• Demonstrate reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Be willing to work every other weekend and holiday shifts.
• Be able to float across multiple units with varying patient needs.
• Possess current CPR/BLS certification aligned with AHA standards.
