Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide compassionate and efficient caregiving services in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities. Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of adult and geriatric patients while complying with facility policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status.
• Support medication administration under supervision and assist with mobility.
• Float across various units such as LTC, SNF, Medical-Surgical, Behavioral Health, and Stepdown to meet staffing needs.
• Adhere to assigned shift schedules, including 8-hour evening or 12-hour shifts.
• Comply with all facility policies regarding attendance, punctuality, and timely submission of time-off requests.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active GNA certification in Maryland at the time of application.
• Possess a valid Maryland CNA certification.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with 1-year experience accepted if applicable.
• Be able to work every other weekend and adhere to holiday scheduling requirements.
• Demonstrate the ability to float between units and handle patient acuity variances.
• Maintain successful completion of required virtual modules and ongoing compliance training.
