Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns before, during, and after delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience managing antepartum, postpartum, and mother/baby patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the birthing process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor laboring patients to identify progress and complications.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief options as prescribed.
• Circulate during c-sections, ensuring surgical procedures run smoothly and safely.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and clinical observations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Valid California RN license, uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Proficient in circulating for c-sections and managing antepartum, postpartum, and mother/baby patients.
• Demonstrated ability to work nights with flexibility for every other weekend.
• Able to comply with travel and healthcare facility policies.
