Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department during night shifts. Ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns through expert clinical management and support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients during night shifts.
• Monitor fetal and maternal health, including vital signs and labor progress.
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and hospital protocol.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license uploaded through Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS, with valid expiration dates.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations in obstetric settings.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
