Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac and step-down patients in a PCU setting, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver efficient, compassionate, and safe care during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, including cardiac drips and TPN/lipids, per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and equipment such as cardiac monitors and lifts.
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube management and wound care.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety protocols, and clinical standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and active RN license with valid healthcare credentials.
• Possess at least 2 years of acute care hospital experience, including in a PCU or step-down unit.
• Demonstrate proficiency with cardiac monitoring, Meditech EMR, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Exhibit strong teamwork skills, positive attitude, and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
