Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides expert nursing care within the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit as part of a multidisciplinary team. This role involves managing patient needs and ensuring quality outcomes in a rural critical access hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Possess an unrestricted RN license in Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Have at least 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Capable of providing care as the primary nurse in a rural, high-altitude environment.
