Job Details

Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. Performs various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, to support patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and other imaging equipment accurately and efficiently to obtain high-quality images.
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care procedures tailored to individual needs across a broad age range.
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely and correctly to radiologists.
• Maintain equipment through routine calibration, troubleshooting, and supply management.
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Document, file, and manage all patient records and billing information in accordance with organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with current R.T. (R)(CT) certification.
• Possess valid radiologic licensure in the state of practice, including California.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have advanced certification in CT modality (preferred in CA, required in OR and HI).
• Demonstrate recent relevant experience with GE CT equipment and support night shift operations.
