Job Summary:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs complementary imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy to support comprehensive patient assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and other imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assess patient condition and prepare them for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Transfer images securely and accurately via PACS and teleradiology systems for analysis.
• Maintain detailed documentation, patient records, and billing information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with routine inventory management and ensure supplies are readily available.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R).
• Possess current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (RT).
• Have advanced certification in CT modality (preferred in CA, required in OR and HI).
• Maintain valid BLS certification and any other applicable state-specific licenses such as fluoroscopy and venipuncture licenses.
• Demonstrate at least two years of recent related experience.
