Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures in an acute care setting. The role involves working with Siemens and Phillips CT scanners, providing high-quality scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens and Phillips CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images in adult acute care patients.
• Prepare patients for scans, including administering contrast agents and starting IVs as needed.
• Perform specialized procedures such as vascular imaging (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), brain perfusion, and virtual colonography.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure adherence to protocols, accuracy, and patient safety.
• Maintain equipment, monitor image quality, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and safety standards, including timely submission of RTO documentation.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active California license and required certifications, including BLS and ARRT.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience in an emergency or adult acute care setting.
• Have proficiency with adult contrast protocols, multiplanar reconstructions, and vascular imaging.
• Possess advanced EKG skills, with successful completion of a minimum 80% passing score on the onsite exam.
• Capable of starting peripheral IVs, performing biopsies, and conducting specialized imaging procedures.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, with no restrictions or disciplinary actions.
