Job Summary:
The CT Technologist performs high-quality computerized tomography procedures, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety. This role involves working a flexible schedule with nights, evenings, and weekends to accommodate patient needs across all age groups.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and produce detailed CT scans following physician protocols and clinical guidelines.
• Safely administer contrast media and medications, including venipuncture, with a focus on safety and efficacy.
• Educate and assess patients prior to procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring cooperation.
• Document all care, procedures, and images accurately within the electronic health record system.
• Transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images using PACS, ensuring image quality and confidentiality.
• Evaluate patient health status and safety, particularly with critically ill or high-risk populations.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT certifications in Radiography and CT, as well as CRT and IV Certification.
• Possess a valid CA State License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and digital imaging systems.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements relevant to radiologic practice.
