Job Summary:
The MS Tele RN will provide direct patient care in a newly established telemedicine unit, focusing on adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients during night shifts. The role requires accurate interpretation of dysrhythmias and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive bedside nursing care, including monitoring vitals, ECG interpretation, and administering medications.
• Utilize telemonitoring equipment to track patient status and promptly respond to alarms and changes.
• Collaborate with charge and senior staff to coordinate patient flow and address clinical needs.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including BLS and ACLS standards, to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Participate in on-call duties as required, contributing to a 24/7 coverage model within the unit.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid South Carolina or Compact RN license prior to start.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in MS/Tele, telemetry, and rhythm interpretation.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSST certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and telemetry monitoring.
• Be capable of floating within scope to meet unit needs.
• Experience in a community hospital setting is preferred.
