Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Tele RN will provide direct patient care in a busy community hospital, focusing on adult medical-surgical and telehealth units. This role requires delivering safe, efficient nursing services, adhering to established protocols, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using healthcare software systems.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, including emergencies and changing conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical guidelines.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions to promote recovery and safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina registered nurse license or Compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical or telehealth nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification; NIH preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in telehealth technology and charge nursing.
• Ability to float within scope to other units or sister facilities as needed.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
