Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populations. This role involves managing a diverse caseload within a busy Med Surg unit, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment, documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and post-hospital care.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, clinical procedures, and facility protocols.
• Maintain clinical competency and complete required module training within designated timeframes.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in GA or a Compact state, required at submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant Med Surg experience, with first-timers accepted.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication tools.
• Ability to work night shifts, with a flexible schedule to float within the facility.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills.
