Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing routine MRI exams, ensuring high-quality imaging for inpatient, ICU, and emergency patients. The role requires independent operation of MRI equipment within a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine MRI scans using Siemens Skyra 3T and Siemens Symphony 1.5T scanners.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Operate the EMR system to document procedures accurately.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain quality standards for all scans.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal imaging.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 3 years of MRI technologist experience performing routine exams independently.
• Hold ARRT or ARMRIT certification, or demonstrate equivalent credentials.
• Maintain a NY state license with injection certification.
• Be proficient in operating Siemens MRI scanners and familiar with Epic EMR system.
• Be able to work Monday through Friday, 5 PM - 1 AM or 4 PM - 12 AM.
• Demonstrate knowledge of patient care and safety protocols.
