Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing patient conditions. They operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality images are obtained for review by physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for MRI exams by explaining procedures and ensuring safety precautions.
• Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed images of internal body structures.
• Monitor patients throughout the imaging process to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Follow established protocols to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI or equivalent.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating MRI equipment and related imaging software.
• Hold active state licensure or certification as required.
• Have prior experience performing MRI procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Possess strong communication skills to coordinate with patients and healthcare teams.
