Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient acute care unit, supporting recovery and functional independence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical functions and limitations to determine appropriate therapy goals.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Administer therapeutic activities and interventions to improve motor skills, coordination, and daily living skills.
• Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and care plans in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and home exercise programs.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and licensing regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active OT Certification required for the assignment.
• Demonstrate minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Possess current state licensure or provisional status in Alaska.
• Exhibit strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of managing a diverse patient caseload with professionalism.
