Job Summary:
Responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients within an inpatient acute care setting. Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans that promote patient recovery and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' functional status and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapy sessions to improve patients' motor, sensory, and cognitive functions.
• Document patient progress and update treatment approaches accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Qualifications:

• Valid OT Certification required for this role.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be eligible to clear Alaska state fingerprint and background checks.
