Job Summary:
The Cath Lab X-Ray Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. They will provide specialized imaging support during complex procedures and respond to call requests as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures in the cath lab, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assist physicians during interventional and electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and maintain image clarity throughout procedures.
• Take call shifts, providing support during off-hours to ensure patient care continuity.
• Adhere to safety protocols related to radiation and contrast media during procedures.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Verify ARRT certification and California license in radiologic technology.
• Possess fluoroscopy license in hand prior to start.
• Have experience in cardiac, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in imaging techniques specific to cath lab settings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiation safety and contrast media handling.
